About Us: 

Delta Adhesives Ltd is a leading UK manufacturer and distributor of industrial adhesives and sealants, operating from our purpose-built facility in Barnsley. As we continue to expand, we’re looking for a proactive and motivated Fulfilment Centre Manager to strengthen our management team and help drive operational excellence. 

The Opportunity: 

We’re offering an exciting, hands-on management role where you will take ownership of our brand fulfilment centre. You’ll work closely with two part-time team members (and more as we grow), ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and accurate fulfilment processes. 

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety, and is looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing company. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the fulfilment centre 
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders with accuracy and care 
  • Maintain customer records and order history 
  • Raise invoices and credit notes using Sage 50 
  • Process card payments and issue confirmations 
  • Use UPS Worldship and DHL e-commerce platforms for shipping and tracking 
  • Coordinate and schedule timely deliveries to customers 
  • Monitor and manage stock levels 
  • Ensure accurate labelling and product presentation 
  • Respond to customer enquiries professionally via phone and email 
  • Liaise with customers for quotes, pricing, and SDS/TDS document requests 
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment 
  • Forklift operation (training provided if necessary) 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal 
  • Confident and professional telephone manner 
  • Experience using Sage 50 (essential) 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team 
  • Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset 
  • Experience in order fulfilment, stock management or logistics (preferred) 
  • Forklift license is a plus (training available)
